INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Simply remove the existing nut and bolt from strap and remove.
Replace with new chrome strap, new chrome nut and new chrome bolt. Repeat above procedure for second strap.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Remove existing handle from dipstick by tapping out roll pin in handle
with supplied tool. Install new chromed handle on dipstick and
reinsert roll pin. Takes less than 2 minutes to install.

50149 SECONDARY AIR CHECK VALVE

This piece is the factory original secondary air check valve and pipe, it includes two chrome bolts
and a gasket. This piece finishes the driver side of the engine
compartment. Installation time is about 15 minutes. Fits 1997-1998, 1999-2000, 2001-2004
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Loosen plastic clamp that secures the rubber hose by inserting a flat bladed screw driver between the serrated halves and twisting the screw driver until the two serrated pieces seperate and the clamp loosens enough to slide it along the rubber tube away from the check valve.
2. Remove the rubber hose by grasping it with your fingers and with a twisting motion pull it off of the check valve. ( there is no fluid in this rubber hose )
3. Remove the two bolts from the check valve and remove it from the car. Scrape any of the old gasket material from the head before proceeding to the next step.
4.Install the Chrome Secondary Air Check Valve by positioning it on the head with the new supplied gasket and insert the supplied Chrome Bolts into the holes and torque to manufactors specifications.
5. Re install the rubber hose by sliding it onto the Check Valve , then slide the plastic clamp into its original position and tighten by squeezing it closed with a pair of pliers. |
